Introduction: Understand the basic foundation of Crisis Management & De-escalation. How crisis develops, the brain in crisis and how to support someone.
Crisis Management and De-escalation will teach participants how to support someone who is experiencing a crisis. We will start with a foundational understanding of how a crisis develops, the brain in crisis, and discuss the threats and opportunities of crisis. We will also focus on the mental preparation skills that can lead to effective intervention under stress.
