Post Date:02/06/2026 12:30 PM

Call for Conference Proposals

Every two years, our Roads to Recovery conference brings together professionals, families and individuals with lived experience to share practical strategies and tools that strengthen our recovery-oriented community.

The ADAMHS Board is now accepting workshop proposals for Roads to Recovery 2026.

Workshop Formats

Presenters may submit a proposal for more than one workshop. There are multiple options for workshop presentations.

  • Keynote and Plenary
  • Workshop (60 - 90 minutes)
  • Panel Discussion (60 - 90 minutes)
  • Special Institute (two-part 90-minute sessions on a unique topic, facilitated by a designated presenter). Special Institutes should offer intermediate and advanced content that is relatable and enhances personal and professional development.

Workshop Topics

Proposals from professionals, advocates, educators and individuals with lived experience should focus on innovative, evidence-based, and community-centered approaches to behavioral health.

Sessions may address practice, policy, systems change, workforce development, prevention or recovery supports.

Presenters should select one primary track and may identify a secondary track where applicable. Please don’t let these topics limit you if you have something great to share! A full list of topics is available on the proposals webpage.
