Home MenuBudgets
The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County is responsible for planning, funding and monitoring public mental health and addiction treatment and recovery support services for the residents of Cuyahoga County. The ADAMHS Board does not provide direct services, rather contracts with behavioral health agencies that do. ADAMHS Board staff determines the needs for programming and funds local behavioral health agencies to provide the services. To ensure transparency, the ADAMHS Board staff presents the budget to the Board of Directors in the fall of each year. The Board reviews the budget, provides feedback, and, after all updates have been made, votes on the presented budget.
The budgets include the process for recommendation of funding, priorities, operational budget, length of contracts and provider information that contains recommended funding, program highlights and an outcomes summary. Upon the budget’s passing, a resolution is approved by the Board to accept and enact the budget’s recommendations.
